About the Position
We are seeking hourly teaching assistants who, as needed and by agreement, will assist course instructors in one or more courses offered in the Civil Engineering Program during the fall semester 2026 and spring semester 2027.
The work tasks primarily consist of, by agreement, supervision during laboratory sessions and mentoring in connection with lectures, as well as to some extent distance guidance outside of class time. The work tasks may also include simple forms of administration and coordination in undergraduate education.
About You
The hourly employment is directly tied to the undergraduate courses offered by the Department of Science and Technology at Linköping University. The work tasks are varied and may arise with short notice, which requires flexibility and availability at the university. You should be responsible, thorough, possess pedagogical skills, and be interested in the subject area.
A requirement for obtaining hourly employment as a teaching assistant is that you can provide documentation that you are studying in a higher education program or that you have begun studies at an advanced level. For this position, we see that you are a student in civil engineering or a related educational program, preferably at Linköping University. It is also advantageous if you are available for assignments through June 2027.

About the Employment
This concerns hourly employment as a teaching assistant; the scope of work tasks and start date will be determined by agreement.
Employment as a teaching assistant is regulated in Chapter 5 of the Swedish Higher Education Ordinance.
Salary and Benefits
Salary according to LiU's central agreement on teaching assistant pay, currently 159.70 SEK/hour.
