Vivant Care Services - Trygga Barn We are now looking for a stable and committed relief family who can support one of our family homes by caring for a child under 10 years old every other weekend and during certain school holidays. The assignment involves providing the child with a safe, predictable and caring environment where there is room for rest, play and positive experiences. At the same time, you will be an important support for the foster family, allowing them to continue their long-term and important work with high quality. We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience working or serving within LSS Has a good understanding of children's different needs and adaptations Can offer structure, calmness and clarity Has a stable home and a secure life situation About the Organization Trygga Barn is a family and emergency care service that receives placements of children who have been exposed to various forms of violence, such as attachment trauma, psychological abuse and acute protection needs. The children may exhibit trauma and mental health issues, such as self-destructive behaviors, trauma diagnoses, insecure attachment and anxiety problems. Trygga Barn is Sweden's first family care service where all placed children are assigned a child advocate with confidentiality from the foster family, in order to ensure good care and prevent abuse. The service also has specialist expertise in narcissistic and emotional abuse. All foster families and emergency care families within the service are offered continuous training, supervision and relief. Qualifications We welcome all types of family constellations, for example single individuals, couples, same-sex couples and families with or without their own children. Requirements: At least 18 years old The child must be offered their own room Extracts from the criminal record, suspicion register, social register, LOB register and registers from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and Enforcement Authority Personal qualities that are highly valued are security, emotional availability, ability to collaborate, self-reflection and commitment.
