About the Role As a maintenance technician, you will work both operatively and preventively with maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of machinery and equipment in production. The role involves quickly addressing acute failures and working long-term with planned improvements and maintenance work. To succeed in this role, you need strong knowledge of electrical and machine electronics. You should be able to read and understand electrical schematics, troubleshoot machines, and have a good understanding of how electrical systems work. The work also includes performing repairs, replacing components, and working with electronic parts in the machinery fleet. You do not need to be a trained electrician, but you should have an interest in and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. It is advantageous if you are proficient in TIG welding, especially in stainless steel, as welding work occurs in production. You will work closely with colleagues in various roles, and your ability to communicate, collaborate, and independently drive your work forward is crucial for this position. The work involves shift work with alternating weeks of daytime (07-16) and evening shifts (14.40-23).
