About the Assignment We are seeking a full-time Daily Operations Manager for our client in Gothenburg with a start date of September 7, 2026. The role involves overall responsibility for daily operations and people management for smaller lab groups. The company currently has approximately 40 employees and is in a very ambitious growth phase in the coming years, which means great opportunities to shape both the role and the organization. Your Responsibilities In this role, you have overall responsibility for operational activities and work closely with both employees, management, and the organization. Your tasks include: • Lead and develop operations, including personnel and work environment responsibility for parts of lab activities. • Ensure efficient work methods, clear processes, and well-functioning daily operations. • Drive development and digitalization of processes in close collaboration with operations and IT. • Manage and further develop routines including onboarding, capacity planning, and procurement in accordance with applicable regulations. • Build and develop good relationships with employees, organizations, and other relevant partners. • Be an active member of the management team and contribute to the organization's strategic development and support the CEO in operational management. Your Qualifications • Documented experience with personnel responsibility, such as line manager, including work environment and employment law. • Experience from industry/private sector and accustomed to working commercially in an operational leadership role. • Experience from grant-financed activities, such as Vinnova or EU projects. • Very strong ability to work in environments with high pace of change, preferably in growth companies. • Experience in building and structuring processes and work methods. • Experience managing onboarding, capacity planning, and ongoing operations for relevant labs and contributing to this at an overall company level. • Ability to function as a bridge between operations and IT and coordinate needs related to IT and system support for digital and efficient work methods. • Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish and English. Merits • Experience working closely with academia, research environments, or technical/lab environments. • Previous role as operations manager, site manager, or similar. • Experience handling work permit and international recruitment matters. • Experience in a role combining operational personnel responsibility with strategic discussions on organizational or operational development. • Experience managing strictly confidential activities.
