A very important part of the assignment is to take full ownership of the group's M&A work. As CFO, you lead and develop the group's finance function, with personnel responsibility for accountants and finance managers in the companies. You are an active member of the group's management team and participate in strategic discussions regarding growth, profitability, capital allocation, and value creation. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will primarily conduct research. Teaching may also be part of your responsibilities, but at most one-fifth of your working time. Your Qualifications To be eligible for employment as a postdoctoral researcher, you must have a doctoral degree or hold a foreign degree that is assessed as equivalent to a doctoral degree. Your degree must be completed by the time the employment decision is made. It is meritorious if your degree was completed no more than three years before the application deadline for this position. If there are special reasons, it may be considered if the doctoral degree was completed earlier, for example due to various types of statutory leave.
