Therefore, we are now expanding the management support at the Children and Youth Unit with an additional Senior Social Worker. The core of your mission is to provide close, secure, and present methodological support as well as structured case supervision to our social workers. You will have a role where you have great opportunity to influence, but where the emphasis lies on driving change in practice and implementing our shared working methods. You will share the supervisory responsibility with a colleague. Together you will lead, distribute, and quality assure the daily work of authority administrators within the unit. The position combines close management support with case handling to a limited extent as well as on-call duty according to schedule. Development work occurs to a limited extent and is shaped based on the new social services act and the implementation of "Backa barnet." Your focus here is on executing changes and creating a predictable work environment by developing appropriate procedures and revising current guidelines. Close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders is a prerequisite for succeeding in this long-term and meaningful effort where we are building for the future. Responsibilities As a Senior Social Worker, you will have a varied day-to-day role where you provide daily methodological support and consultation to the unit's social workers in complex assessments and before decisions. You are responsible for receiving and distributing incoming cases as well as reviewing and quality assuring investigations and decision-making documents based on BBIC. To create a long-term well-structured operation, you ensure that relevant procedures are available and that the unit's guidelines are kept up to date. Since the assignment is shared, you will also handle your own, smaller amount of client cases in daily work. Additionally, you lead network meetings and coordinate services for children and young people, which requires good collaboration both internally and externally, for example with schools, health care services, and police. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work combined with several years of experience in authority administration within children and youth services. You are well-grounded in BBIC and current legislation, and you have worked with both investigations and implementation. Experience in management, methodological supervision, or coordination is meritorious. To thrive in the role, you are confident in your professional role, well-organized, and have good analytical skills. You find it easy to collaborate and communicate in a clear, pedagogical way.
