Work Tasks As a substitute, you are an important part of the operation and contribute to creating a safe, educational, and positive environment for children and students. You work when regular staff are absent and have the opportunity to work within one or several operations based on your competence and interests. Work tasks vary depending on the assignment and operation, but what is common is that you support children and students in their development and learning. You collaborate with colleagues, meet guardians, and contribute to creating a safe and well-functioning daily life where the best interests of the children are always in focus. About the Staffing Unit The Staffing Unit places substitutes within preschools, schools, food services, functional support, and care and welfare. As an hourly substitute, you work based on the operations' needs at different workplaces in Säffle Municipality. You register your own availability yourself and need to be flexible to be able to take work shifts with short notice. We are looking for you who are a good ambassador for Säffle Municipality and who contribute to professional and respectful treatment. When working as a substitute within the Children and Education Department, you work as a Preschool Teacher, After-School Pedagogue or Teacher, qualified or unqualified, but also as a Childcare Worker and Student Assistant. You can have multiple positions and thereby increase your job opportunities. You have no fixed placement but may work within several different operations. Qualifications You must be 18 years old Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written Merits If you have education or experience within preschool, school, or other educational activities, that is a plus, but it is not a requirement. Even if you are studying to become an educational professional, you are warmly welcome to apply. We especially value your personal suitability, your engagement, and your willingness to contribute to a safe and developmental environment for children and students. A valid driver's license and access to a car are also advantageous since our operations are also located in rural areas. The work involves great variation as you have the opportunity to work at several different workplaces around the municipality, both in central Säffle and in rural areas.
