Job Responsibilities AI is rapidly becoming the primary author of the world's software. Today's models generate code at a speed no human can match – but how can we trust code we haven't written ourselves? Formal verification offers a path to mathematically guaranteed correctness, but combining it with AI-based code generation raises deep and largely unsolved challenges. As a postdoctoral researcher, you tackle exactly this question: how we can generate code with AI and formally verify that it does what it should. The work combines modern AI/LLM-based code generation with formal methods to create software that is both fast to develop and provably reliable. The position is part of SAFIR (Secure AI for Intelligent Resilience and Confidentiality in the Cloud), a 2.5 million euro collaborative project between KTH, Saab, Nvidia, Ericsson, Red Hat, CanaryBit, and RISE, which builds the next generation of secure and trustworthy AI for critical domains such as telecommunications, defense, and cloud. You will join the Machine-Intelligence for Networks and Distributed Systems (MINDS) research group at the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), in an international and dynamic environment with strong academic and industrial collaborations. You will have access to international supercomputing resources and a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with NVIDIA H100 and A100 GPUs as well as ten NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 GPUs. As commander of the medical platoon, you are part of 311st Staff and Logistics Company, whose task is to support the air base with communications service, logistics service (e.g. transports, fuel and supply service) and medical service. 14th Medical Platoon The medical platoon consists of a platoon leadership and two medical groups that work together through a rear medical station and mobile through various types of medical vehicles. The main task is to care for the injured throughout the air base area and to perform preventive medical measures at the base. Main Responsibilities As medical platoon commander, you are responsible in daily service for leading the platoon's operations and ensuring that personnel maintain and develop competence in both medical care and general soldier skills at both individual and group level. To assist you, you have the platoon's doctor and nurses who support with medical expertise. During exercises and operations, your task is to lead the establishment of the medical station and the platoon's daily routine service. In addition, you should support the company and battalion with leadership of defense medicine at the base, which includes prioritizing how personnel and equipment are used to maximize medical capability.
