Then this might be the position for you! We are now recruiting an edge press operator for our client, just outside Jönköping. This is a direct recruitment, meaning you will be employed directly by our client. We manage the entire recruitment process, but your employment will be with the company. As an edge press operator, you will work with programming and operating edge presses for manufacturing sheet metal parts. You are responsible for ensuring production maintains high quality and that work is performed according to drawings and specifications. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in production and suits you if you thrive in a practical and varied work environment. The work involves: *Programming and setting up edge presses *Sheet metal bending according to drawings *Quality control to ensure parts meet customer requirements *Machine setup and changeover *Basic maintenance and servicing of equipment *Actively contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace Qualifications To thrive in this role, we believe you are a responsible and solution-oriented person with technical interest and a passion for precision work. You work independently but also collaborate easily with others. We would like you to have: *Training in workshop, industrial, or technical fields, or equivalent work experience *Experience working as an edge press operator or similar manufacturing work (desirable but not required) *Ability to read and interpret technical drawings *Experience setting up machines and programming *Good computer skills *Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written We place great importance on your personal qualities.
