Would you like to become our new group manager at Samariterhemmet Health Center?
We are looking for someone interested in a group manager position at Samariterhemmet Health Center with a start date by agreement. As group manager, you will have operational responsibility for nurses, district nurses including child health nurses, nursing assistants, and laboratory staff.
We offer a permanent position as a nurse with a limited-term management assignment. This means your role will combine group manager responsibilities with clinical work. To give you good conditions for the assignment, we offer internal introductory training within Primary Care and Health and through Region Uppsala.

Your Assignment
As group manager, you will work on behalf of and together with the operations manager to plan, organize, and lead the work at the health center. You will have personnel responsibility for parts of the health center, which includes recruitment, employee and salary discussions, work environment, and rehabilitation. You create and foster a sense of security through communicative, trustful, and responsible leadership.
Your Competence
Since the assignment combines nursing work, you must be a licensed nurse. You also have experience working in primary care and prior experience in a leadership role.
We are looking for someone interested in leadership and operational development who applies coaching and trust-based leadership. Your approach is characterized by openness and forward-thinking. The assignment requires good collaboration skills and that you are clear, attentive, and innovative. You understand your role as an employer representative, your authority, and your operational goals, and can communicate these to the health center's staff. Having a patient perspective is self-evident to you, and you want to develop the operations so we become an attractive choice for county residents. We place great importance on personal qualities.
Our Operations
Samariterhemmet Health Center is an academic health center located in central Uppsala, a stone's throw from the Central Station. Our health center is a large operation with approximately 13,800 registered patients. Together, we are over 70 employees, and all professions within the health center's mission are represented. We work in interprofessional teams where different competencies collaborate to provide patients with good, accessible, and coordinated care with a focus on continuity. The broad variety of patients creates a developing workplace.
