The Business Support and Analysis Section has the mission to develop and manage the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's client administration systems for community corrections, remand facilities, and prisons so that they support frontline work and provide functional system support for users, and meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders for quality-assured information. Job Description We see that you have solid experience with client administration tasks in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's core operations, particularly with a focus on community corrections. We also believe that you feel comfortable explaining to others how work with sentence execution functions, where you have worked or have worked previously. In the role of business analyst, you will be able to use your prison and probation service experience and knowledge to develop system support – and help colleagues who use them in their work. The work involves participating in various development projects, where you and your colleagues analyze the operations' needs, translate these into requirements, and conduct testing to ensure that the system support meets expectations during development and change. The position is located at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's head office in Norrköping within the national department for content and development, with the possibility of being placed at the regional office in Stockholm or Malmö. We are looking for you who have: A university degree or other post-secondary education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service considers relevant for the position Several years of experience working within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service Experience from work within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's core operations, especially within community corrections Experience of working in depth with several of the Criminal Care Register's different subsystems and understanding its function Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish Good knowledge of MS Office It is also meriting to have: Led and driven projects and assignments Worked with cross-agency issues within the justice system Managed system support, routines, and/or governing documents Experience with process mapping Experience with conducting training Experience with designing operational requirements Very good knowledge of the sentencing process, the sanctions system, and criminal care legislation.
