You will help ensure stable and safe production in a modern, technically advanced facility that is continuously evolving. About the Battery Facility At our battery facility, we work with the recycling of lithium-ion batteries from electric cars and the vehicle industry in a modern and technically advanced production environment. The facility is an important part of Stena Recycling's commitment to circular solutions and enables valuable metals and materials to be recovered and reused, rather than new raw materials being extracted. The facility combines established industrial processes with new technology and is constantly evolving. There is a strong focus on safety, quality, and improvement work, and the work takes place in close collaboration between production, maintenance, and engineering. Responsibilities As a maintenance mechanic, you will work close to production in a process operation where both manual tasks and automated processes work together. Your contribution is crucial for the facility to operate safely and efficiently. You will work on preventive, corrective, and improvement maintenance of production equipment and processes. The tasks include troubleshooting, service, repairs, and planned maintenance work, as well as participation in improvement and development projects to increase operational reliability. In the role, you will, among other things: - Perform troubleshooting and repairs during operational disruptions - Work with preventive and planned maintenance - Participate in improvement and development projects - Work in our maintenance system for registering and tracking work orders - Perform mechanical work such as bearing changes, lubrication, welding, and other maintenance work - Work close to production to create stable and efficient processes You will become part of a team that currently consists of three maintenance mechanics, two engineers, and a technical manager, and you will also work closely with production personnel, external contractors, and suppliers. Working Hours The position is based during daytime, Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30. However, working hours may change over time based on the needs of the operation. Who Are You? We believe you are a practical person with a strong technical interest and experience in maintenance work in an industrial environment. You enjoy working close to production and are motivated by solving problems, finding causes, and improving processes. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and engaged in your work. You find it easy to collaborate with others but also feel confident working independently to drive your work forward. You are happy to contribute ideas and improvement suggestions and enjoy working in an operation that is developing. Qualifications We see that you have: - Experience with maintenance work - A mechanical background - Secondary school education - Good computer skills - Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - Class B driving license It is a merit if you have: - Experience with electrical work - Forklift certification - Hot work certification - Experience with maintenance systems, preferably MaintMaster Here You Can Develop With us, you become part of a team where people help each other and share knowledge.
