DO is now seeking an assistant who wants to contribute to this important work. The Legal Unit The primary task of the Legal Unit is to oversee compliance with the discrimination legislation. Risk and Insurance Controller

1 position(s). Join us in developing risk and insurance management in one of Sweden's largest municipalities. With us, you'll have a strategic key role in a large and complex organization with its own captive insurance fund. You'll have the opportunity to influence working methods, set direction, and drive long-term development that strengthens safety throughout the city. Your responsibilities You have a coordinating and developing role with significant independent responsibility. You work both strategically and operationally with risk management, insurance, and accident prevention efforts for the entire Västerås city. By analyzing claims data, accident statistics, risk assessments, and environmental changes, you identify development areas and translate insights into concrete measures. You drive development work that strengthens safety and helps reduce damage costs across the city's operations. You are responsible for the city's insurance strategy work, develop and manage the internal insurance fund, and coordinate the insurance group. The role involves being the city's contact person with insurance brokers and insurers, and you manage work with our action program according to the Act on Protection Against Accidents (LSO). The assignment includes many contact points and close collaboration with departments, municipal companies, and external partners.
