We are now seeking another wonderful team member to support our client. We need you to bring strong commitment to working with people with disabilities and understanding of the family caregiver perspective. Our client is a man who uses a wheelchair and enjoys being outdoors and doing standing/walking exercises. He has some communication ability, and with the right fit, you'll quickly develop a great rapport that brings joy to both of you. Experience with epilepsy and a calm demeanor are significant advantages. The assistant team works 12-hour shifts between 8:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00 on a fixed schedule. Active assistance is provided 24/7 with double staffing. Scheduling is flexible regarding which days you work (based on your preferences) as the client and team are committed to finding the right person and can adjust the schedule accordingly. Since the client has severe dog and cat allergies, it is important that you do not have a dog or cat. We welcome female applicants. Your Responsibilities Tasks typical to the profession. Everything from individualized personal care to household tasks. Assistance is primarily provided at the client's home. You work in a supportive and motivating manner. Training is provided on-site and through Monument Assistans. We are now hiring assistants for two different positions Position One: Three day shifts per week Position Two: Two night shifts per week Monument Assistans is the choice for people needing personal assistance who seek tailored solutions.
