You will work with counseling within our Career Counseling program, which is a commission from the Swedish Public Employment Service. The purpose is to give our participants, who are job seekers, support and help in making well-considered choices to find sustainable paths to education and work. As a study and career counselor, you will be part of a team working with career counseling. Your task is to support and guide participants, based on their circumstances, toward realistic study and career choices. During career counseling, they become aware of their competencies and abilities and what they need to develop to achieve their goals. You will work with participants both individually and in groups, where you lead various group activities. The position includes informing participants about different educational paths and professional fields and supporting them on the path to suitable and sustainable education and work. Together with the participant, you build a realistic career plan that describes the steps needed to reach the final goal: employment. Your work tasks include: Responsibility for the cohesive counseling process. Conducting mapping interviews, individual counseling sessions, group guidance, workshops, lectures, and learning initiatives.
