About the Position The Medical Unit (ME) Transplantation is responsible for abdominal organ transplant care for patients from the Stockholm-Gotland region and other parts of the country. The care chain extends from transplantation and surgery to aftercare and long-term follow-up. We serve both pediatric and adult patients and work closely with several different specialist areas. We transplant kidneys, livers, and pancreases and also provide aftercare for patients who have undergone heart transplantation at another unit.
