About the Position:
As a design engineer, you will work on technology-intensive projects where you contribute to the development of products, systems, and solutions that make a difference. Depending on your background and interests, the role may involve work in mechanical design, product development, cabling, electronics-related design, structural analysis, calculations, simulations, or technical documentation.
You will often work closely with colleagues in areas such as mechanics, electronics, systems, software, production, and testing. The role can encompass the entire or parts of the development chain, from idea, concept, and design to verification, industrialization, and finished product.
Responsibilities:
Create and further develop designs in CAD and PLM environments
Develop technical solutions based on requirements, functionality, and application
Carry out product improvements, design changes, and modifications
Perform or contribute to calculations, simulations, analyses, and verification
Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and manufacturing specifications
Collaborate with production, testing, procurement, and other technical areas
Contribute to method, product, and process development
Support projects with technical assessments and solution proposals
What We're Looking For:
You have a university or master's degree in mechanical engineering, product development, technical design, electronics, mechatronics, or similar
You have at least one year of experience in design or related work
You have a good understanding of technical systems, product development, and problem-solving
You are experienced with CAD, PLM, or other technical development tools
You have strong knowledge of both Swedish and English as both languages are used in internal and external contact points
About the Position:
This is a consulting assignment, which means that initially you will be employed by Friday. The ambition from the client and our side is that after 6-12 months you become directly employed by the client.
