That's why we have an integrated department that handles the entire mandate of social services, under the motto "We support an independent life". Nässjö Municipality aims to provide children with the conditions for healthy development. To best carry out this work and also create greater opportunity for work development, we are organized into three units: Investigation Unit, Placement Unit, and Services Unit. In total, we have 65 employees and the units work in close collaboration. Exciting work is underway with early interventions and collaboration between social services, schools, police, culture and recreation, and Region Jönköping County. Examples of working methods include the Family Center home visit program, School Social Teams, and Presence Teams. The municipality also has an Open Reception for Youth with risk use/substance dependence and parental support programs with multiple target group and language orientations. The Services Unit is the social administration's open-care unit where approximately 26 employees primarily work focused on the Family Center's curative activities and family therapy. Within open care, family therapists, family pedagogues, and youth coaches/SSPF coordinators work. The unit is led by a unit manager and two group leaders. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES The Children and Youth Services Unit works with qualified psychosocial treatment work aimed at children and young people (0-20 years) and their families. The goal is to strengthen parents' abilities so that families are given better conditions to manage their life situation themselves. The family therapist we are now seeking will primarily work with young people 13-21 years and their families. Open care operates on assignment from social workers and also offers services without needs assessment, both individually and in groups. The treatment foundation is systems theory and attachment theory with a clear focus on each individual's specific needs, family, and network. As a family therapist, you work with family conversations, family pedagogical interventions, parental support programs, network work, and individual treatment work. Your task is to strengthen the individual's and family's own abilities, resources, and strategies to create sustainable change. The work includes, among other things, supporting and strengthening parenting, promoting good communication and relationships within the family, working outreach and relationship-building in close collaboration with, for example, networks, schools, police, and healthcare. The position is broad and flexible, which means that work tasks will vary based on the activities' needs. The position includes work tasks such as working with young people sentenced to youth care and youth service, young people with risk use and harmful use or substance dependence issues. The work takes place mainly during daytime but evening hours may occur. Open care work is continuously evaluated through systematic follow-up of the interventions provided. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a social worker, social pedagogue, or have other higher education that together with work experience is deemed equivalent by the employer. You have good knowledge of current legislation and the mandate of social services. You have experience with psychosocial work aimed at children and young people. Meriting are qualifications in evidence-based treatment methods aimed at the target group, as well as experience working with people from different cultures. As a person, you easily build trusting relationships and meet people with respect. You work in a structured manner, are careful, independent, and flexible where you can easily handle when conditions and planning change in your work. Since the work involves many contacts, both internally and externally, you should have good collaboration skills, be outgoing and positive. You should have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We are looking for you who have a driver's license.
