We are now looking for a dedicated special education teacher who wants to develop our special education efforts and contribute to ensuring that all students have the best possible conditions to succeed. DUTIES As a special education teacher, you play an important role in the school's work to create an accessible learning environment where every student is given the opportunity to develop based on their abilities. You work both preventatively and supportively by providing individual support and instruction in small groups. You conduct pedagogical assessments, diagnoses, and tests, develop intervention plans, and guide educators in special education work. You will also be involved in developing and building up the school's pedagogical workshop together with other colleagues. As a natural part of your duties, you are part of the school's student welfare team and work closely with teachers, after-school staff, guardians, and other professionals to ensure that students in need of extra accommodations and special support receive the right interventions. You are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on special education work in accordance with the school's policy documents and students' individual needs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained as a special education teacher with teacher certification and authorization to teach in grades F–6. If you have a specialization or experience working with students with neurodevelopmental disorders (NPD), that is a merit. You have good digital competence and use digital tools as a natural support in your work. Experience with documentation in Prorenata is a merit.
