Your Assignment: The Elderly Unit is tasked with ensuring that Nacka residents 65 years and older receive the support they need to live under secure conditions. Through flexibility and shared responsibility, we meet our clients in elderly care that faces an exciting future where we together need to find the best solutions based on demographic challenges, lessons learned from the pandemic, and the possibilities of welfare technology. We work toward clear goals and with Nacka's seniors in focus. For us, our employees are our most important resource. The Elderly Unit's social worker team consists of two teams with approximately 16 employees in each team. The team relevant to this recruitment also includes residential coordination, which is responsible for placements in special housing, day activities, and short-term housing. The social worker role includes: Receiving applications, investigating, and making decisions about services for Nacka residents over 65, and following up on those decisions, in accordance with the Social Services Act. We work with the individual's needs at the center (IBIC). Having long-term delegation to make decisions about most services. Providing relevant information and guidance and informing/guiding in the choice of service provider according to Nacka's customer choice model. Collaborating internally within the municipality and externally with, for example, health and medical services and other authorities. Is This You? We hope that you are curious and creative and enjoy development. The role requires that you have a structured work approach and good prioritization skills. You work in a legally sound manner and have very good communication skills in both speech and writing. We are looking for someone with: Sociology degree Meritorious: Experience working in a politically governed organization. Experience with benefit administration for the elderly.
