Property Services is responsible for Region Västerbotten's premises provision, including both strategy and implementation of operations and maintenance as well as renovation and new construction. Our customers are our citizens, patients, and all operations within Region Västerbotten. The department is a regional operation with approximately 95 employees, of which about 60 are in Umeå. Your Responsibilities As an electrician with us, you'll provide important services and enable initiatives that impact many people. We're seeking an electrician for Umeå who will primarily work with preventive maintenance of electrical installations including backup power, UPS systems, transformer stations, EV charging, and the hospital's other electrical systems. Your role includes inspecting and maintaining systems, optimizing buildings and their technical installations and equipment. You'll also handle incoming requests from our operations. Ordering minor contract work and following up on these tasks is also part of your responsibilities. On-call duty may occur. Your Background and Qualities To succeed in this electrician role, you need to be a thorough and safety-conscious person who wants to develop professionally. You're comfortable working independently and solving challenges you face in your work, but you also collaborate easily with people from different backgrounds and with varying expertise. You take responsibility for achieving our goals together and contribute to doing so in a quality and efficient manner. You're happy to share your knowledge and experience. Mentoring and training on our systems and installations will be provided to help you settle in and feel confident.
