About the Role
As a procurement officer, you lead procurements according to LOU and ensure that Platen's procurement and contract processes are conducted in a business-like, legally correct and sustainable manner.
The role involves close collaboration with various parts of the business where you serve as support and advisor on matters concerning procurement, contracts and purchasing processes. You are responsible for coordinating and carrying out procurements, preparing and reviewing contracts, and ensuring their compliance. You also contribute to developing and streamlining the company's routines and processes within procurement.
You report to the Property Manager and work from Platen's office in Motala.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and conduct procurements according to LOU.
- Prepare, review and follow up on contracts.
- Ensure good contract compliance and business-like practices.
- Provide support and advice on procurement and contract matters.
- Contribute to the development and streamlining of processes and working methods.
- Collaborate with various functions in the business on procurement-related matters.
- Help develop a long-term and sustainable purchasing operation.
Who Are You?
Platen is looking for someone with post-secondary education in areas such as procurement, law, finance, purchasing, logistics or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.
You have experience with public procurement and good knowledge of LOU. We would like to see that you have worked with procurements in property, construction, installation or technology-related operations and have an understanding of contractor agreements.
To succeed in this role, you need to be confident in independently driving procurements from needs analysis to contract signing and follow-up. You combine structure and accuracy with good communication skills and a business-like approach.
We would like to see that you have:
- Experience with public procurement according to LOU.
- Knowledge of procurement law.
- Experience with contractor law.
- Experience working in digital procurement systems.
- Experience from the property, construction, installation or technology sector.
- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
Meritorious
- Experience from non-profit or municipal operations.
- Project management experience.
