Our current special education teacher will be on leave for a period, and we are therefore seeking a substitute for a fixed-term assignment during the leave, until April 2027. Social Secretary for the Reception Unit Children and Youth in Järva

The new organization is part of the work to transition the operations to the new social services act. The unit consists of 14 social secretaries, two team leaders, and a unit manager. The area also includes Family Law, Field Work, Parental Advisors, and SIG Adults. The Reception Unit Children and Youth in Järva: participates during 2026 as a pilot district in the transition to the new social services act develops work methods for close collaboration and early support to children, young people, and families works according to Signs of Safety principles and tools collaborates with police, health and medical care, schools, and preschools offers regular check-ins, internal and external supervision, and further training has a clear structure for case processing. Your role The Reception Unit receives reports and applications concerning children and young people aged 0–20 years. You work with, among other things, initial safety assessments, reports and applications, and provide information, consultation, and advice. You guide people to the right support within social services or other operations. Collaboration with, for example, schools, preschools, police, and health and medical care is an important part of the work. As a social secretary in the reception team, you are part of an on-call function, which means that work outside regular working hours may occur. The work is planned collectively, but you also need to be able to handle acute situations. Flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt are therefore important. Unit Manager for the Staffing Unit

Job Responsibilities Would you like to help develop the staffing unit within the preschool administration? We are now seeking a fourth unit manager for staffing with great commitment and a drive for what's best for the children in our city. In fall 2024, the preschool administration launched a new staffing unit with permanent employees. Having permanent staff in the staffing unit helps us leverage the expertise within the administration. Our approach to organizing staff in the staffing unit is designed to provide greater continuity for both employees and children in the preschools. This should lead to a better work environment and reduced sick leave.
