About the position The Pharmacological Laboratory consists of three sister laboratories: the Doping Laboratory, the Drug Laboratory, and the Drug Analysis Laboratory. Together we are approximately 80 employees offering analyses to healthcare, occupational health services, addiction care, and anti-doping operations. Through research, development, and advanced bioanalysis, we contribute to developing future laboratory diagnostics. As a biomedical analyst at the Drug Analysis Laboratory, your main responsibilities will include sample reception, sample preparation, bioanalysis, evaluation, and technical approval of results. Your work encompasses laboratory work performed both manually and with robotic systems. Our analysis range is constantly changing as new pharmaceuticals enter the market and illegal drugs continually emerge in our society. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues including biomedical analysts, hospital chemists, laboratory assistants, administrators, and physicians. Your work may also include student supervision, method responsibility, instrument responsibility, and participation in research and development projects. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays between 08:00 and 16:30 with the possibility of flexible hours.
