About the position
As unit manager for Power Quality and Data Analytics, you lead a unit in development, where assignments, working methods, and collaboration are being shaped. This gives you great opportunities to influence direction and culture, while developing your leadership and expertise in technically complex areas. You are part of the System Capabilities section's management group and contribute to the section's strategic development. In this role, you operate at the intersection of technology and strategy, where you translate technical specialist knowledge into clear priorities, well-founded decisions, and concrete operational development. With many contact points, you have an important role in representing the unit's technical areas and building and maintaining good relationships within the industry.
You lead a unit with 11 power system specialists located at several Svenska kraftnät offices and have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, and budget. The unit's work includes ensuring good power quality in the transmission grid through requirement setting, analysis, and power quality studies, for example through the development of technical guidelines, allocation of disturbance margins for connections, harmonic studies, or monitoring of voltage dip propagation. The unit also works on developing methods and tools to monitor dynamic system stability, as well as requirement setting for measurement infrastructure and data quality. The unit also has a coordinating responsibility for disturbance analyses.
Work tasks:
Lead, develop, and follow up on the unit's operations with responsibility for personnel, budget, and results.
Ensure progress and drive development of working methods, processes, and structure within the unit.
Create conditions for employees to reach set goals and develop in their roles.
Represent the unit in internal and external forums and participate in and lead steering groups and initiatives.

In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Further, you have a civil engineering degree in a relevant field (for example electrical engineering or engineering physics), or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent.
You also have:
Managerial experience with responsibility for personnel and budget.
Several years of experience leading knowledge-intensive operations with technical specialists, for example as a manager, team leader, project manager, or equivalent.
Knowledge of and good understanding of the power system's dynamics and structure.
Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
It is a merit if you have:
Experience with operational and process development and improvement work.
Experience with technical connection requirements for facilities connected to the electricity system, preferably within power quality.
Experience with power system analyses and modeling.
Experience in analysis of measurement data, or work with requirement setting for measurement systems.

The position is located in Sundbyberg, Västerås, or Gothenburg.
The position includes travel within the Nordic region and Europe. If placed in Västerås or Gothenburg, regular travel to the headquarters in Sundbyberg 2–4 times per month is included.
