Your responsibilities As a crisis preparedness strategist, you are responsible for developing the municipality's crisis preparedness and crisis management capabilities. You work strategically to ensure the municipality meets increased requirements and expectations within the crisis preparedness field. An important part of the role is to be an exercise and training leader for the entire municipal group. You plan, conduct, and follow up on training and exercises that strengthen both individuals' and operations' capabilities within crisis preparedness and wartime organization. You are responsible for creating engaging learning situations where participants have the opportunity to put theory into practical capability. You also contribute to ensuring quality, delivery reliability, and cooperation within crisis preparedness and civil defense. The role also involves developing cooperation with authorities, business, and other stakeholders to strengthen the municipality's ability to conduct activities of vital importance to society. Who are you? We are looking for someone with an academic degree in, for example, behavioral science, social science, political science, pedagogy, or risk management with a focus on societal security. Alternatively, you have other education and relevant work experience deemed equivalent. You have experience planning and conducting training initiatives and preferably experience with digital training platforms. It is meritorious if you have worked in a politically governed organization and driven complex issues.
