DUTIES
Work as a registered nurse in home healthcare is largely independent and involves assessing, planning, organizing, and performing medical treatment and care interventions for patients enrolled in municipal health and medical care for whom you have nursing responsibility.
The work is varied and involves everything from medical assessments, specimen collection and wound dressing changes to more advanced healthcare in the home.
You are responsible for the patient's care process and participate in multidisciplinary teams together with occupational therapists, physical therapists and nursing assistants. You also maintain close contact with family members and are an important link between the patient and other care providers. As a registered nurse with us, you are responsible for guiding and delegating nursing personnel, and you also provide support to other team members around the patient. Your knowledge and experience are valuable, so it is part of your role to contribute to the operations' improvement work.
Collaboration is a major part of your role and a success factor in the assignment. You need to be able to work with both acute issues and long-term goals.
We work daytime, every 6th weekend and public holidays according to schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a district nurse or a licensed registered nurse. You have good collaboration skills. For us, this means that you work well with others and can create constructive collaboration for change. To fulfill the assignment, you need to have a flexible approach and organize and prioritize activities efficiently.
You have good experience with IT-based medical record systems and can express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. A category B driver's license is required.
