Today we have 28 beds, of which 7 are acute care ward (AVA) and 2 beds will be used during the fall to develop medical investigation. Our primary task is to ensure that equipment is safe to use for both patients and staff. Our customers are primarily our four hospitals, as well as Community and Regional Health services in our service area. Who are you? We are looking for someone who is outgoing, has good customer service skills, and well-developed collaboration abilities. It is very important that you can handle tasks of varying nature, have a strong ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel, and are stress-resilient. We are now looking for a nurse for our mobile team at BUP (Child and Adolescent Psychiatry)! Description BUP Affektiv mottagning Kungälv is part of the Psychiatry Department at Kungälvs sjukhus and is located at Rollsbovägen 58 in Kungälv. There are good connections to Gothenburg. Child and adolescent psychiatry at Kungälvs sjukhus has a clinic in Stenungsund and two clinics in Kungälv. In addition to the affective disorders clinic, there is a clinic for patients with neuropsychiatric issues in Kungälv. We are now recruiting a staff member for the mobile team, which is based at the affective disorders clinic. The clinic has a senior consultant physician, nurses, psychologists, social workers, secretaries, and a unit manager. There is also access to a speech-language pathologist and occupational therapist, who are employed at the neuropsychiatry unit. The operations are characterized by high expertise and a high degree of collaboration, conducted from an interdisciplinary perspective. BUP Affektiv mottagning has emergency readiness during daytime hours. We launched the mobile team in project form in autumn 2023 and it was made permanent in 2025. The mobile team serves patients in our catchment area: Tjörn, Stenungsund, Kungälv, and Ale municipalities, who are already engaged with one of the three BUP clinics. Duties Assessments and treatment interventions directed at children and adolescents with psychiatric issues who, for various reasons, have difficulty attending the clinic or school, or in cases where an intervention at home would be particularly important. This could include, for example, following up subacute patients or providing interventions aimed at children and/or parents to help the child attend school or keep their scheduled appointment at the clinic. Work is carried out on assignment from one of the BUP clinics and in consultation with the unit manager but is performed independently. The work includes collaboration with healthcare partners, schools, and social services. Qualifications We are looking for someone interested in working in our mobile team within child and adolescent psychiatry.
