DUTIES As a nursing assistant in home care, you meet people with different needs and life situations. No two days are alike, which makes the work both developmental and rewarding. You work close to the care recipients in their homes and help create a safe and meaningful everyday life. With the individual's needs and wishes at the center, you contribute to strengthening health, participation, and quality of life. The position requires nursing assistant training or other education, as well as a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) confirming the right to use the professional title nursing assistant. The person hired must be at least 18 years old, hold a B-category driver's license, and be able to communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. A genuine interest in people, good conduct, and the ability to see the individual's needs are important prerequisites for the assignment. The role requires responsibility, flexibility, and good cooperation skills, while a willingness to develop, learn new things, and contribute to a positive work environment are highly valued.
