About the Organization
Villa Vägen ut! Solberg (TCD Ekonomisk Förening) is a work-integrated social enterprise that operates three supported housing facilities. The work is based on the 12-step program and targets adult men with experience of substance abuse or other psychosocial challenges. The organization offers opportunities for employment, education, and rehabilitation. Villa Vägen ut! Solberg consists of three units: Villa Solberg (9 beds), Villa Trulsegård (8 beds), and Villa Kalshed (8 beds). The organization has 16 employees distributed across the three villas. Villa Vägen ut! Solberg is a cooperative association with a board and is member-owned; membership can be applied for after three years of employment.
Work is conducted in a structured and drug-free environment with clear rules, zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs, and a strong focus on motivation, accountability, and personal development. Through conversations, community, meaningful activities, and daily support, participants have the opportunity to create stability and build a sustainable life free from drugs.
About the Role
As Operations Manager/Director, you have overall responsibility for the quality, development, and results of the organization. You combine strategic leadership with hands-on operational work and are a present leader who works alongside staff in the organization's daily activities.
You are responsible for leading and distributing work across the organization's different workplaces and operational divisions. The role requires you to create structure, clarity, and good collaboration while being confident in making decisions in complex situations. You actively work to develop the organization, support staff, and ensure that work is conducted according to the organization's values and applicable regulations.
An important part of the assignment is to collaborate with social services, the correctional system, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and other partners to create favorable conditions for participants' rehabilitation and return to independent living.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct salary reviews and employee development conversations.
• Apply for new framework agreements and be responsible for the organization's permits.
• Lead, distribute, and develop work across the organization's different workplaces and units.
• Take responsibility for personnel, work environment, skills development, and daily management.
• Ensure that the organization meets legal requirements, agreements, and quality goals.
• Manage documentation, procedures, follow-up, and internal control.
• Support staff in complex client matters and acute situations.
• Work to develop the organization's activities in motivation work, rehabilitation, and social recovery.
• Collaborate with social services, the correctional system, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and other authorities.
• Participate in placement meetings, follow-ups, and reporting.
• Contribute to the organization's continued development and long-term sustainability.
Qualifications
• University degree in social work or equivalent higher education.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in substance abuse services.
• Experience in management and personnel responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of the Social Services Act (Socialtjänstlagen) and relevant regulations.
• Experience leading and distributing work in organizations with multiple workplaces or operational divisions.
• Strong knowledge of substance abuse issues, motivation work, and rehabilitation.
• Experience with or good understanding of collaboration with the Swedish Public Employment Service and work-oriented rehabilitation.
• Experience meeting, supporting, and managing staff with lived experience of substance abuse, criminality, or other social challenges.
