Learn more at www.agrenska.se Who will you work with? I am a 13-year-old active, spirited boy living with my mom, dad, and older brother in Kungälv. I love speed and thrills and am looking for a creative assistant with a childlike spirit who wants to go on adventures with me. I love fast-paced activities and am looking for someone who will help me drive remote-controlled cars, jump on a trampoline, ride roller coasters at Liseberg, play with trains, swim in the sea and at swimming pools, and run in a frame runner or various races in a special running buggy. I also enjoy calm and relaxing experiences like visiting Eldorado and the sensory rooms there. I like spending time with my friends; we go wheelchair dancing together, among other things. I hope that as my assistant, you will help me take initiative for activities that my friends and I can do together, as well as help me stay in touch with them. I have cerebral palsy, severe intellectual variation, bilateral cochlear implants, and epilepsy. I have a button in my stomach through which I am fed when I don't have the energy to eat through my mouth. I have no verbal speech but am very expressive and communicate through eye contact and body language. It is therefore important that you are attentive and can read my needs and what I want. I also practice communicating through picture support in a PODD book and an eye-tracking computer. I need help with everything in my daily life, such as getting dressed and undressed, meals and medication, diaper changes, washing myself, and becoming independent in play. Scope of Position The employment is 50%, but there is an opportunity to work more if you wish! Work hours are flexible; you will typically work weekday afternoons from 14.30-20.30 and every other weekend Saturday, Sunday from 10-18. We hope you can start the position in mid/late August. At the beginning of your employment, you will be offered an introduction/mentoring period. Who are you?
