JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a social pedagogue at Kvarnskolan, you will work in a supportive capacity with students in grades 7-9. You are one of three people in a student support team that coordinates around the school's three grade levels. The student support team works closely with both the student health team and teachers, so that we can provide each student with the best possible conditions for learning and development. As a social pedagogue, you will be an important person both in preventative work and in measures to promote safety and academic focus in the school. The social pedagogue works both mobile in the school's common areas and scheduled together with students or student groups during certain lessons, all depending on where you are needed most. You support students through positive behavior support and motivational conversations as an important tool in this work.
