Pålstorpsskolan receives students who are in need of special support. We focus on students with NPF, primarily autism. We believe that all students want to succeed if they can. Our task is to ensure they do. We work to make students feel included, have influence, and experience safety and conducive study environments. With us, students meet a school environment that is neutral and free from disturbing sensory impressions. We develop relationships, both with students and guardians, that are built on trust and respect. We are close to our students throughout the entire school day. Through structured development work, in close cooperation with the school's student health team, we make learning even clearer and more accessible for students. The absolute most important success factor for students' development is the teacher. We therefore work in a two-teacher system to further strengthen students' learning. Each class has approximately 7 students. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES You will be the primary responsible teacher for middle school students' Swedish language instruction, which includes planning, implementation, assessment, and grading. Based on our two-teacher system, part of the position will also involve being the "second teacher" in lessons in other subjects. You will support your colleague in mentoring assignments for some of the school's students. This assignment includes close collaboration with guardians and the school's student health team. The position also includes supporting students in social interaction, which for example may involve playing games, joining field trips, etc. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a certified and licensed teacher in Swedish up to grade 6. If you also have certification in additional subjects, that is a merit. Of course, you share our view that relationships are crucial for creating the best conditions for learning. Since our target group is students with NPF, experience with this is also important. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration, start date: As soon as possible.
