Job Duties The Personal Support Services division offers services including companion services, personal assistance, and contact person programs. We work closely together across the entire service area, and we are currently seeking a support pedagogue for a permanent position focused on companion services. As a support pedagogue, you work to support, motivate, and guide both service users and colleagues. You have a central role in the service's quality and development work and are responsible for implementing, monitoring, and developing decided methods and working practices. Support Pedagogue at Broströmsgården Children's Residential Home
Responsibilities Would you like to make a difference at Broströmsgården's residential facility for children? Then you might be the person we're looking for. We provide care for four children with multiple disabilities. The children have extensive needs for educational support and personal care. You will be part of a team with support assistants and a unit manager. We also collaborate extensively with other professionals and family members. In your role as a support pedagogue, you will support our residents in their daily lives, including providing care, administering medication under delegation, and managing social documentation. You are also responsible for documentation processes, methodology, and quality development at the unit. You will be part of a network with other support pedagogues and a methodology developer. As a support pedagogue, you will work a schedule that includes day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend work. You work one weekend every fourth week. As a support pedagogue, you allocate 50% of your working time to pedagogical work and the remaining time to direct service provision. We use Time Care Planning for activity-adapted and flexible schedules. Qualifications For the position of support pedagogue, post-secondary specialization within the disability field is required, comprising at least 200 vocational credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four full-time semesters of study.
