Work responsibilities In your role as an occupational therapist, you will have personal responsibility for performing occupational therapy-based interventions in elderly care. Your work focuses on supporting older individuals with both physical and cognitive challenges. You will work both independently and in a team by performing functional and activity assessments and leading training activities. You will also be responsible for trying out and prescribing aids and assistive devices, as well as instructing, delegating, and coaching care personnel in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You are also responsible for identifying, reporting, and participating in the follow-up of deviations and adverse events. You have a leading role and are an important part of the operation's systematic quality and patient safety work.
