Your working hours may vary based on operational needs and are often determined on short notice. Since work locations and tasks vary, it is important that you are flexible and comfortable learning new ways of working. What is common in both disability services and elder care is that you work with people. You meet them in their daily lives and ensure that each person's care and support needs are met. In elder care, you work in home care or at a care and support facility.
