As a nursing assistant with us, you have a varied role where you are responsible for both nursing care and social tasks. You assist with everything from transfers and personal hygiene to household chores and medical interventions. As a care contact, you plan days for several residents based on their specific needs and wishes. You maintain close contact with family members, participate in welcome conversations, and work on establishing and revising care plans. You also collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure the best possible care. A large part of your work is planning and implementing activities that promote well-being. Your Workplace Welcome to Garnisonens Care Home, a facility specializing in short-term and dementia care! Here we are close to both the city center and beautiful nature. There are good bus connections, making it easy to get here. The facility consists of 40 apartments divided into four units: three for short-term care and one for dementia care. Of these, 30 places are for short-term stays and 10 for people with dementia. Short-term care receives people with varying medical needs and diagnoses. The length of stay varies, and the work can sometimes be intensive, with pressured situations requiring quick interventions. Dementia care is a permanent housing option for people with dementia. Here we provide long-term support and care tailored to each individual's needs. After the new year, the facility will move to Åleryd Care Home. The position will then be located in a unit focused on short-term care for people with dementia. The move represents an exciting opportunity to be part of developing the facility in new premises, while continuing to offer person-centered care with a focus on safety, participation, and individual needs. As an employee with us, you will be a care contact and act as a representative in areas such as hygiene, assistive devices, and nutrition. We work with care plans and documentation in Epsilon/Wellfare, a planning tool that helps us structure the day. Working hours vary between day shifts, evening shifts, and alternating weekends. We place great emphasis on a good work environment. Together we will establish clear ground rules. We have regular meetings such as workplace meetings and work environment committees, as well as a separate cooperation council for employees only where you can raise important issues. There is close collaboration between management and staff, with a focus on always providing the best possible care. We encourage you to develop and take on responsibility roles. Our team includes two managers, coordinators, nurses, nursing assistants, care aides, and rehabilitation staff. About You We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant. Since the work involves a lot of contact and documentation, it is a requirement that you master Swedish in speech and writing and have good computer skills. It is meritorious if you have experience working in health and care, documentation in medical record systems, and working according to IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus). Knowledge of a salutogenic approach is advantageous, as is familiarity with a low-affective approach. If you also have experience in short-term and dementia care and with digital tools such as Epsilon, Wellfare, or Treserva, we consider that an extra plus. As a person, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others. You are attentive, communicate in a clear and respectful manner, and contribute to good teamwork. You are self-motivated, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to plan and structure your work. We also value your empathetic ability and your commitment to meeting each resident based on their individual needs and circumstances.
