Content Producer, Digital Culture for Children and Youth
Welcome to Us In our world, culture is important, and we need cultural spaces that provide room for play, creativity, and dreams. Spaces where you can discover, develop, and express yourself. Spaces for imagination! At Kulturskolan, children and young people ages 6 to 22 have that space. Here they get the opportunity to create on their own time in one of Kulturskolan's many subjects within music, theater, dance, art, and media. Young Voices (Unga berättar) is a unit within Kulturskolan that works to strengthen children and young people's voices in society. We do this through creative activities and methods where young people themselves participate in creating—from idea to finished production. With us, you can, for example, work with film, photography, podcasts, public art, and other ways to tell your story and raise issues that matter to you. It is always the young people's own stories that take center stage. This position is partly linked to the Digital Kulturskolan project and involves working in a cross-functional team with colleagues from different parts of Kulturskolan. You collaborate closely with educators, producers, and other functions in the organization. What We Offer With us, you get to work in a role where you combine creative production, development work, and coordination in an organization that is constantly evolving. You work closely with children and young people and help develop digital formats, approaches, and expressions together with the target audience. The work takes place in collaboration with educators and colleagues from different parts of Kulturskolan. You get the opportunity to develop your skills in digital production, user-centered approaches, and to coordinate and drive work in an organization that spans both education and cultural production. Your Role As a content producer in the Digital Kulturskolan project, you work within the Young Voices unit to plan, produce, and develop digital content that enhances and extends the experience of Kulturskolan's offerings today. In this role, you help develop Kulturskolan's digital offerings for, with, and by children and young people. This includes pedagogical, communicative, and user-centered initiatives. You explore, test, and develop digital formats, platforms, and approaches, with the goal of increasing awareness of Kulturskolan's activities, lowering barriers to entry, and strengthening community and creative joy. Beyond work on the Digital Kulturskolan project, you contribute to Young Voices' ongoing work with media education, administrative, and coordinating tasks. You work in a committed team with diverse skills, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday work. You thrive in open, exploratory processes where direction, form, and approaches develop along the way. The work should contribute to achieving the organization's goals and help Kulturskolan reach more and new participants through accessible and inclusive formats, in line with set strategies, governing documents, and regulations for municipal activities. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who enjoys creating creative and target audience-appropriate digital production with limited resources. You are experienced at finding solutions without advanced technology and see opportunities in what is simple, flexible, accessible, and inclusive to use. You are curious, driven, self-directed, and take responsibility. You are communicative and see feedback and testing as a natural part of the work. Since the work involves many contact points, it is important that you collaborate easily with others and have an accommodating and problem-solving approach. You are responsive in interactions with children and young people and let their perspectives and needs guide how content is shaped and developed. You feel a strong commitment to inclusion and all children's and young people's right to creative expression and cultural experiences. You enjoy thinking innovatively and can adjust course based on changing priorities. You plan and organize your work efficiently and meet set deadlines. Furthermore, you have a strategic and sustainable mindset, consider the bigger picture, and work for the benefit of the entire organization. We Are Looking for Someone With Education in media production, interaction design/UX, or equivalent Experience with video and audio production Experience with user-centered approaches Very good computer skills (Microsoft 365, Adobe Suite) Competence in media production, digital services, and platforms Strong ability to formulate and adapt texts, and very good knowledge of Swedish and English It Is a Bonus If You Have Education in children and youth culture, education, or media and communication science Competence in digital illustration, animation, or prototyping (including AI tools) Experience working with children and young people in educational contexts Experience with coordination and administrative tasks Knowledge of Kulturskolan or similar public organizations Knowledge of e-learning, digital accessibility (the DOS Act), GDPR, and copyright Knowledge of inclusion and diversity work, including LGBTQI+ issues Other Information Your main workplace is based at Young Voices' office at Döbelnsgatan 89.
