The department collaborates with other units in both Lund and Malmö, for example thoracic surgery and intensive care, as well as other hospitals within and outside the region. All staff categories work closely together with the patient in focus. Within cardiac care at Skåne University Hospital (Sus), research is conducted at local, national, and international levels.
