The iPad also provides access to Cosmic for easier documentation, reviewing patient records, entering observations, etc. As we operate 24/7, the position includes day, evening, and night shifts. Ward B173 is a specialized unit where we primarily care for patients with kidney diseases and rheumatological conditions. After the new year, we will also care for patients with endocrine diseases such as diabetes and other hormone-related conditions. In addition, we have a high influx from the emergency department of patients with other medical problems. Job Description As a nursing assistant on our care ward, you will have a central role in patient care and meeting diverse patient needs. Your work tasks will include: Assessment, planning, and delivery of patient care. Providing basic care to patients with kidney failure, endocrine and rheumatic diseases, and other internal medicine conditions. Supporting patients and their families. Documenting care and treatment according to current guidelines. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure good and coordinated care for our patients. Participating in developing and improving work processes on the ward. Work Team The ward currently has 12 care beds divided into two care teams. We are in a positive trajectory and now, with the merger with endocrinology, have the opportunity to expand with an additional care team to meet our patients' needs! We work with an interdisciplinary approach where we focus on the patient's entire life situation and strive to provide the best possible care in every situation. Here you work together with nurses, physicians, dietitians, social workers, occupational therapists, and physical therapists to provide the best care! Has experience working in nephrology, rheumatology, or endocrinology. If you are newly trained and have an interest in the field, you are warmly welcome to apply. Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work involves constant communication with patients, families, and colleagues. It is an advantage if you have experience working in inpatient care. We would like to see that you have a genuine interest in working with patients with chronic diseases and complex care needs. You use your knowledge, skills, and abilities to create security and provide professional treatment in every patient interaction and care situation. As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You work well with others, work in a structured manner, and can adapt to changing circumstances when the operations require it.
