About the Meteorological Research Unit We are now seeking reinforcement for our meteorological research unit, which conducts research and development work in air environment, weather forecasts, climate analysis, and atmospheric processes. Daily work includes working with observation data, meteorological analyses, and developing models for regional weather forecasts in the Nordic region, as well as remote sensing, climate analysis, and air quality at urban to global scales. The roles offer good opportunities for international collaboration, scientific publication, and specialization within a rapidly growing research field. About You We are looking for you as a doctorate holder with a focus on computer science, mathematics, mathematical statistics, physics, engineering, or another relevant field. To be eligible for the position, you must have a solid foundation in programming and machine learning (deep learning), which allows you to drive your work independently without extensive ramp-up periods. Requirements: Very strong programming skills in Python and solid documented experience with PyTorch for deep learning. We at StudentConsulting are looking for you who are studying at least 50% or have another primary occupation. Do you like working at a fast pace and in a team? Then you might be the one we're looking for! Work as a terminal operator involves mainly sorting packages continuously and handling incoming and outgoing goods to be loaded. Forklift driving is part of the tasks, and therefore a forklift license is a requirement. Working hours are mainly scheduled at night between 00:00 and 05:00, Sunday through Thursday, but earlier start times may be requested occasionally. You will be employed as a consultant and be part of a staffing pool where you register your own availability and are scheduled based on customer needs. To be eligible for the position, you need to be able to work at least three shifts per week. Previous experience with similar work and forklift driving is a merit but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are motivated, have a strong work ethic, and take responsibility. The work is physically demanding with many lifts, and since it's night work, you need to be comfortable working according to a different sleep schedule.
