Corporate HR Staff has around 60 dedicated employees with overall responsibility for managing, developing, coordinating, and monitoring Region Skåne's strategic HR work. We work closely with the administrations to achieve the best results based on political direction and operational needs. Our areas of responsibility include employer relations, occupational health/safety, workforce planning, leadership, competency development and learning, HR IT support, and HR governance and analysis. On the Labor Law and Occupational Health Unit, we are nine colleagues driven by representing Region Skåne in labor law and occupational health matters as well as compensation strategy by leading, coordinating, overseeing, and ensuring compliance within these areas. RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking a compensation strategy expert with labor law expertise for a challenging and exciting position at the Labor Law and Occupational Health Unit. As a compensation strategy expert, you will drive and coordinate Region Skåne's work with various aspects of compensation strategy and processes such as salary reviews, pay equity mapping, and Region Skåne's compensation policy. This involves independent work where you develop processes and guidelines in this area and maintain good cooperation with labor organizations. You will work closely with your colleagues on the unit but especially together with our other compensation strategy specialist. Compensation strategy and employment terms are an important part of Region Skåne's work as an attractive employer. Here you are a key player in developing and improving these matters for one of Sweden's largest employers. Your assignment also includes increasing the organization's capacity to handle labor law matters by being responsible for and participating in information and training initiatives. Furthermore, you will represent Region Skåne as an employer in processes, disputes, and negotiations within the unit's area. The position also includes leading, supporting, and advising the administrations' HR specialists in their work on compensation strategy and labor law. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with a college or university degree in human resources, law, or equivalent higher education. You have solid knowledge of and experience working with compensation strategy and labor law matters. We also see that you have very strong negotiation experience with a solution-oriented approach in a larger organization. You have experience leading, coordinating, and training groups. Furthermore, you have excellent ability to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. For this position, it is an advantage if you have experience working with HR and compensation matters in public sector operations, preferably municipal and/or regional. To be successful in this role, you are a communicative and engaged person with a natural ability to create and maintain good relationships. You are confident and independent in your work and can take an active role in leading and driving processes forward.
