Your Tasks You'll be part of creating conditions for a continued stable and secure operating environment. You'll be an important part in ensuring high availability, security, and stability in the network solutions that form the foundation for Eskilstuna and Strängnäs to function. For us, IT is a strategic resource that really gets to contribute to development, efficiency improvements, and provides technical support internally. We have several exciting challenges ahead, and need to work with our IT environment in a proactive and secure way. You'll work with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network components in both local and geographically distributed environments. You'll contribute to further developing our network architecture, ensure that changes are implemented in a controlled manner, improve operations, and prevent future incidents. Here you'll also get to develop work methods, documentation, and procedures. You'll work closely with other colleagues in IT where we together contribute technical expertise for the benefit of the operations. Education and Previous Experience We're looking for someone who pays attention to details, sees the big picture, and has their heart in the task. You like to collaborate, find smart ways forward, and get things working and developing at the same time. You have a post-secondary education in, for example, systems science, data technology, IT infrastructure, systems administration, network technology, or similar. You have several years of experience as a technician and have worked with Cisco-based solutions in operations and troubleshooting, switching and routing, wireless networks, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
