We are looking for a committed and experienced support pedagogue who wants to help develop the pedagogical work in our LSS group home. As a support pedagogue, you work closely with service users and lead the pedagogical work in the operation. You supervise colleagues and ensure that work is carried out based on LSS, the Social Services Act, implementation plans, and evidence-based methods. You have knowledge of the target group autism, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviors. With us, you work with a focus on safety, participation, self-determination, and good quality of life. In this role, you are expected to pedagogically lead the operation-related work by supervising, communicating, and clarifying pedagogical measures based on given objectives. Together with colleagues, you ensure work with implementation plans, objectives, sub-objectives, and social documentation. As a support pedagogue, you are a resource to strengthen the pedagogical approach and support the individual's participation and independence. You plan and carry out activities that promote health, participation, and social community, and actively participate in the operation's quality and development work. In all tasks, you work from a professional and respectful approach where the individual's self-determination, integrity, and individual needs are in focus. You are part of a network of support pedagogues and method advisors to exchange experiences and implement new evidence-based methods. The work includes documentation in accordance with applicable legislation and the operation's procedures, and working with clarifying pedagogy and individually tailored support measures to promote the individual's development and participation. Further, collaboration with relatives and other professionals based on the individual's needs, as well as actively contributing to the operation's quality and development work. The position also includes performing delegated tasks in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a vocational higher education degree in support pedagogy of at least 200 YH credits and experience working as a support pedagogue within LSS operations. You have good knowledge of LSS legislation and the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations, as well as experience working with people with autism, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviors. As a person, you are calm, confident, flexible, and solution-focused, with a value base that rests on the equal worth of all people and Ängelholm Municipality's values: Openness, Care, and Action. We also see that you have good ability to supervise and guide colleagues in pedagogical work and experience creating, following up, and documenting implementation plans and social documentation. You work in a structured manner, have a pedagogical approach, and actively contribute to the operation's development and quality work, and have a B-class driver's license.
