Our current team consists of seven family court secretaries, a team leader, and a unit manager. One of our family court secretaries will retire at the turn of the year. WORK TASKS Together with us, you will be responsible for performing all standard family law tasks for our two municipalities. This includes investigations/establishment of paternity, adoption cases, reports/investigations for court proceedings in custody, residence and access matters, and collaborative discussions with separated parents. The department is also responsible for implementing court decisions regarding access support. An important task is to provide advice and information to citizens and to serve as experts on family law matters in relation to other social services and collaboration partners. Currently, we have a special focus on voluntary collaborative discussions and how we can work preventatively to meet the intentions of the new social services law. We have also created books for children that we use in our various processes to provide children with information and make them participants. Good access to management support is a given for us. As a family court secretary, you regularly participate in external supervision. We believe that social change work happens in meetings with our families but also through close collaboration with our colleagues; therefore, the work is primarily conducted on-site. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who is a social worker and has experience with public authority work involving children and families within social services. Experience in family law matters is a merit. You should be organized, stable, and have a good ability to understand others' situations with respectful conduct. The child perspective is central to our work. You have good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing. It is important that you can both work/manage processes independently and collaborate with colleagues.
