We are a grades F-9 school with students from our local area with single-family homes and students from further away. Our school is a meeting place for students with different backgrounds, something we value and are proud of. Job Description Are you engaged and want to help create good conditions for each student to succeed and develop as far as possible both academically and socially? Can you build good relationships with children and young people and be a good role model? Do you set boundaries and can be clear without creating conflict? Then maybe you're the one we're looking for! We are looking for a social pedagogue for Sjöängsskolan's special education groups 4-6D and 7-9D. This is a substitute position for the fall semester related to parental leave in the groups. The position is divided with 1 day per week in 4-6D and 2 days per week in 7-9D. In our special education groups there are teachers, social pedagogues, childcare workers, and resource pedagogues. Your work tasks are varied and it is important that you are flexible, collaborative with others, a good communicator, and can be a trusted adult in difficult situations. Our students need safe relationships and stability, and related to that the team largely handles colleagues' absences among those working in the group. This means you need to be able to take responsibility for and handle many different work tasks. The team members share responsibility for the students' school day, and you need to be able to both provide support to students during lessons and be a present and engaged adult during breaks. Social work with students is part of the position. Qualifications You have experience working in a special education group. You have experience handling difficult and challenging situations. You have experience having dialogue with guardians. You are trained as a social pedagogue. You have experience working in primary school. You enjoy working in a team and collaborating with others. This is a part-time substitute position with the possibility of an employment rate of 60-80%. We warmly welcome your application!
