About the Workplace Vitmossevägens group home in Gustavsberg on Värmdö is seeking residential support workers for permanent part-time positions. Vitmossevägens group home is located in an established townhouse area with proximity to two town centers, nature, beach swimming, and a bus stop. It takes approximately 25 minutes by bus to Slussen. Six residents with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and mental health challenges live at the facility, each with individual needs and support requirements. We work using evidence-based methods and employ a low-arousal approach. A manager and a work leader are assigned to the facility. About the Work The work involves providing support and services to residents so they can live lives like others. This means you will assist a person with personal hygiene, establish and maintain a clear daily structure, maintain contact with healthcare, psychiatry, and dental services, administer medication, interpret needs and wishes, participate in various recreational activities, and support social contacts. The work also includes routine household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. Documentation is an important part of the work. Nurse/Ophthalmic Nurse
The eye care department provides basic and, to some extent, highly specialized eye care for Gotland's approximately 60,000 residents. Operations are conducted in close collaboration with other surgical and medical specialties. Continuous efforts are made to further develop the department and thereby improve care for Gotland's population. We have approximately 13,000-14,000 visits per year where we provide outpatient services in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and eyelid surgery, as well as a medical retina clinic with injection services. The department has primary on-call responsibility during daytime hours and standby on-call duty part of weekends. Patients requiring highly specialized care are primarily referred to the eye clinics at St Erik's Eye Hospital or the Academic Hospital in Uppsala. We have regularly returning consultant physicians with specialized knowledge in pediatric ophthalmology, corneal diseases, cataract surgery, and plastic surgery, including surgery for tumors, eyelids, tear ducts, and strabismus. The Services Unit is the social administration's open-care unit where approximately 26 employees primarily work focused on the Family Center's curative activities and family therapy. WORK DUTIES The Children and Youth Services Unit works with qualified psychosocial treatment work aimed at children and young people (0-20 years) and their families. The goal is to strengthen parents' abilities so that families are given better conditions to manage their life situation themselves. The family therapist we are now seeking will primarily work with young people 13-21 years and their families. Open care operates on assignment from social workers and also offers services without needs assessment, both individually and in groups. The treatment foundation is systems theory and attachment theory with a clear focus on each individual's specific needs, family, and network. As a family therapist, you work with family conversations, family pedagogical interventions, parental support programs, network work, and individual treatment work. Your task is to strengthen the individual's and family's own abilities, resources, and strategies to create sustainable change.
