We are now looking for you to work as a music teacher at Skiljeboskolan. Your Responsibilities As a music teacher with us, you will teach students in grades 7-9. You conduct modern and creative instruction where you find strategies to reach every student and strengthen their development in both knowledge and social skills. Your assignment includes planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical work together with your colleagues based on the school's guidelines and students' needs. You collaborate with other school staff to create a good teaching and working environment for both students and staff, and you actively participate in the school's development work. A natural part of your work is taking responsibility for the musical aspects of the school's events and ceremonies. To perform your work at your best, we place great emphasis on professional development and collegial learning. Our school is characterized by teamwork among colleagues, and we collaborate extensively both within and across subject areas. Mentoring of approximately 14 students is included in the position. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who hold a teaching certification with qualification to teach music in grades 7–9. You have previous experience teaching in primary school and are comfortable using digital tools and resources in your daily work. You also have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Previous experience as a music teacher is considered a merit. It is also a merit if you have qualifications to teach additional subjects in grades 7–9. You are confident and stable with good self-awareness and have an easy time collaborating, listening, and communicating with others. You have good pedagogical understanding and adapt your teaching to students' different needs and circumstances. You work in a structured manner while being creative and innovative in your approach to inspiring and engaging students.
