Biomedical Analyst

Laboratory Medicine Center Gotland includes the chemistry lab, blood bank, microbiology, and water lab. We are now seeking biomedical analysts for the chemistry lab and transfusion medicine/blood bank sections. The assignment and content of the position can be shaped based on your experience, competence, and interests, taking into account the needs of the department. Your Tasks As a biomedical analyst with us, you will work independently and make your own decisions while also working as part of a team. You will work in the clinical chemistry/transfusion medicine department, and your main tasks will consist of analyzing samples and delivering accurate results on time. We invest in individual competency development and want our staff to have broad competence and be able to handle various tasks to build strong teams. You are an educated and licensed biomedical analyst, preferably with experience in clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine. You have a positive approach toward our patients and can explain and assist them with questions. You have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing. In addition to good computer skills, you are thorough, have good collaboration abilities, and can work independently. It is important that you enjoy working with varied tasks and learning new things.
