Our main focus is adult education in healthcare and social services, but we also offer education in retail and service as well as vocational education in logistics and service. Your Assignment As a Swedish/SVA teacher, you are responsible for teaching, assessment, and grading in Swedish and Swedish as a second language (SVE1 or SVA1). This occurs in parallel with the main focus of subject knowledge in healthcare and social services. The position includes planning and conducting on-site instruction. You assess student performance according to the National School Board's course plans for Komvux and assign grades in accordance with your certification. You work closely and collaborate with care teachers, pedagogues, career counselors, and other staff. Some students will need language-supportive teaching methods, and this is where your expertise becomes especially important. We want you to build a language-developing learning environment that benefits all our students. Create dynamics, spark interest, describe and explain – everything that makes Swedish fun. Teaching is conducted on-site in Skövde, full-time or part-time by agreement.
